When your customers ask AI, does it name you?
Enter your website. In under a minute you will see exactly how ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google’s AI Overviews can read your business — and what is stopping you from being the source they quote.
No email needed to start. Nothing is changed on your site — we only read what is already public.
Five things decide whether AI names you.
Roughly 50 checks, weighted into five scores. Every check is deterministic, so two scans of an unchanged site produce the same number — and when you fix something, the number moves for a reason.

What is AI search optimisation?
AI search optimisation - also called AEO or GEO - is the practice of structuring a website so AI assistants can read it, understand what the business does, and cite it when answering a relevant question. It overlaps with SEO but rewards different things: machine-readable facts, clean question-and-answer structure, and corroboration from sources beyond your own site.
Why is my business not showing up in ChatGPT?
Usually one of four reasons: your robots.txt blocks the AI crawlers, your content only appears after JavaScript runs so crawlers see an empty page, you have no structured data telling engines who you are, or nothing outside your own website corroborates that you exist. A CheckAIRank scan tells you which of these applies to you.
Does blocking GPTBot stop me appearing in ChatGPT?
Blocking GPTBot stops OpenAI using your content for training, but the crawler that matters for being cited in a live answer is OAI-SearchBot, and browsing requests come from ChatGPT-User. Many sites block all three by accident with a single wildcard rule and never realise they have opted out of being cited.
How long does a scan take?
Under a minute. The scanner reads up to 8 pages, checks your robots.txt, llms.txt and sitemaps, looks you up in public knowledge graphs, and runs roughly 50 checks. Results stream in as they complete, so you see findings before it finishes.
Is it free?
Yes. The scan runs and scores without an account. Entering an email unlocks the full set of recommendations and a CSV export. Live keyword rankings, backlink data, and observed AI citations need paid data sources and are part of the full audit.
